Instilling Excellence in Our Students

When we opened our doors in the fall of 2016, we welcomed 120 6th grade students excited to change their future and create a legacy. Milwaukee Excellence continues to grow one grade level at a time to now 600 6th-11th grade students and will graduate its first class in spring 2023.

With our rigorous curriculum and dedication to our students, we have received a five-star rating from Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction’s report card for three consecutive years. This signifies our school significantly exceeds expectations and is based on multi-year data that includes achievement, growth, target group outcomes and on-track to graduation rates.

In our last report card, the three areas we scored highest were growth, target group outcomes and on track to graduation. To add to our accomplishments, we are also the first school in Wisconsin to be recognized as one of the top 100 Title I schools in America and became a National ESEA Distinguished School in 2019.
